THE TEEN AGE

Formed in a Brooklyn basement in late 2012, The Teen Age plays a mix of 70’s inspired punk and garage rock. The group made their live debut in January of 2013, supporting Palma Violets. Their debut single “Ventura” was recorded at Converse Rubber Tracks Studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and released via PaperCup Music in July, garnering an excellent response from such outlets as MTV’s Buzzworthy Blog. “Ventura” showcases the band’s particular brand of ‘”Doo Wop Garage” featuring crunchy guitars and a sing-along ready chorus.

The Teen Age released its follow-up single “Matador” on 7” vinyl this October, backed with two b-side tracks, “Why Would You” and “The Wave”.  Destined to have you dancing, with it’s jangled guitars, and reverb drenched vocals,  “Matador” and “The Wave” are perfect follow ups to “Ventura”, while “Why Would You” is a crunched up shot of pure adrenaline.
